Climate action is the thirteenth Sustainable Development Goal, however, we illustrated in our previous research that, at this time, companies had not silently engaged in the “race to Net Zero” on their own. Recent academic research has demonstrated that engagement initiatives by institutional ownership had a positive effect on corporates’ climate disclosure and climate action.
